  27.     Anyhow, the object that came with Lightwave (and others too) are
  28. from a company:

  35.     This company "specializes" in 3D objects.  They 3D digitize real
  36. objects, from medical items to cars and airplanes (ala cyberware 
  37. scanners as in T2 etc...) and sell them in many many formats, and 
  38. can even do custom formats and custom digitizing. (They obviously
  39. have Lightwave support).

  41.     There are different levels of quality from low. (1438 polygons)
  42. to super duper high (131,000 polys) etc...  As far as dinosaurs go
  43. here is what I see in their catalouge (though the dino's don't seem
  44. to be as high quality  as some of their other objects):

  46.     Allosaurus, Diplodocus, Parasaurolophus, Pteradactl, Dinosaur(generic)
  47. Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus and a Tricerotops.
  48.  
  49.     For most objcts prices range from $300-$700, though the super
  50. high detailed/frequently wanted medical objects such as skulls and
  51. skeletons go for as high as $5000.  The dino's seem to be in the 
  52. $200-$400 range but prices may have changed.
